A racquet or paddle can look great on paper and still feel wrong in your hand. Specs, reviews, and even a friend's recommendation only tell you so much — the only real way to know if a frame fits your game is to hit with it. That's what our demo program is for.

Why Demoing Matters

Every player swings differently, and small differences in weight, balance, and stiffness can change how a racquet or paddle feels once you're actually on the court under real conditions. A frame that a pro reviewer loved — or that worked great for your doubles partner — might not suit your swing at all. Demoing takes the guesswork out of a purchase you'll be living with for a long time.

How It Works

01

Pick up to two racquets or paddles at a time — mix and match, or compare two versions of the same model in different specs.

02

Take them out for a full week of real play — practice, matches, whatever gives you a true feel for how they perform.

03

Each demo is $10. If you decide to buy, that fee goes straight toward your purchase — up to $20 credited back when you demo two.

💡 Demoing two frames side by side is the best way to feel the difference — swing one for a few days, then the other, and you'll notice things a spec sheet can't tell you.

What to Pay Attention To

A week is enough time to move past the "this feels different" stage and into "this actually works for my game." A few things worth noticing while you're testing:

  • How the frame feels on off-center hits — does it still feel controllable, or does it twist in your hand?
  • Whether you're generating the power and spin you expect without overswinging
  • How your arm and shoulder feel after a full session — comfort matters as much as performance
  • Whether the weight feels right by the third set or third game, not just the first few minutes

If you're deciding between two options, it also helps to hit with your regular playing partners — they'll notice differences in your shots that you might not feel yourself.
